During our initial consultation, you’ll need to provide us with exact room measurements so we can provide a rough estimate based on your measurements. Afterwards, we’ll send an onsite manager to your home to finalise your measurements and give you an exact price. Our onsite managers can come to your home at any time that’s convenient for you and can also offer some advice to prepare your home for the installation.
After a thorough inspection, our onsite manager can then supply you with a few cost-effective fitting methods along with some alternative flooring and carpet designs.
Although our estimates are extremely accurate, we won’t know the fixed cost of the project until we have already begun the fitting process. If there’s any need for additional charges, we will notify you before moving forward.

Preparing Your Room For Fitting Day
You have a few tasks to knock out before your fitting to make sure the job goes smoothly. For starters, it helps to remove any small furniture from the room as it might delay the process. If your room contains sizeable heavy furniture, please let us know in advance so we can better prepare our service.

How It Works
Someone who can answer any questions needs to be home during the fitting. If you cannot be home, make sure whoever is there can get in touch with you quickly should we have questions.
After installing your new flooring, our carpet fitter will remove the waste and clean up the worksite so you can enjoy your new floor right away.

The path for carpet success was paved by Graham Lee founders Fred Whant and Fred Kemp in 1960. The first shop was opened in Mitcham and was named after Fred Whant’s eldest sons, Graham and Lee Whant. A few years later, the store was operated entirely by Fred Whant, and his son Graham joined the business in 1972.
In 2003, the current owners, Mark and Greg Whant, joined the family trade to help their parents manage the store on weekends. Since Graham and Martin retired in 2018, Mark and Greg now oversee the operations of all the locations throughout Surrey.
Fast forward today, and Graham Lee is a reliable carpet supplier in all around Surrey. We have locations in Cheam Village, Worcester Park, and we service Southeast England and Southwest London.

Types of Underlay for Your Carpet
When it comes to underlay for your carpet, there are a few options from which you can choose. Most people have never heard of these choices, so let’s review them below.
PU is by far one the most common underlay flooring on the market. This foam is usually made from recycled foam cuts. The foam is comfortable, affordable, and offers a wide range of thickness. Since you can recycle PU foam, it is also entirely eco-friendly.
If you are after an underlay that offers a little more protection, crumb underlay is the way to go. Crumb is both flat and dense and works well on stair runners.
