About Us
When Graham Lee carpets started, we only sold linoleum, carpet squares and rugs.
After a few years Broadloom carpets became available, together with vinyl
sheet and Marley tiles. We began to stock and offer a fitting service for these products.
Some years later, cushioned vinyls appeared in 2 mt, 3 mt and 4 mt widths, doing away with the former joins in fitting.
Later companies like Ryalux, Causeway and Bronte started to offer bespoke carpets to cater for the more discerning customer. We also saw Amtico come onto the market with their own style of design floors using vinyl tiles and plans. They have been followed by Karndean International, who have come into the market at a slightly lower price point, but still offering design floors of all types.
In recent years, our industry has moved towards wooden floors, firstly with
laminate floor (with "Quickstep" being the brand leader), and engineered or structured woods as a cheaper option to the solid wood.
Sisal is the latest fashion and although not a practical product, we offer a limited selection from our Cheam branch.
Graham Lee deals with most of the major manufacturers within the carpet industry such as Ryalux, Lomas, Westex, Cormar, Pownalls, Penthouse, Victoria and Manx to name a few. Both our Cheam and Worcester Park showrooms stock a vast range of carpets, but if you visit our showroom and do not see the specific manufacturer your are interested in, please ask one of our experienced Sales Advisors for more information and we will acquire a sampling for you.
We are members of the Associated Carpet Group which enables us to buy many products from all the leading manufacturers at discount prices, which we pass on to all our customers. We are also members of the British Shops and Stores Association (BSSA).
Look for the special A.C.G. own label products which are especially good value.
Both the Cheam and Worcester Park Graham Lee shops are situated in Surrey on the A2043 between New Malden and Sutton and within easy reach of Epsom, New Malden, Kingston, Wimbledon and Morden.
